Mara K. Bell is a section editor for the news section at The Black Explosion Newspaper. She is a sophomore journalism major at the University of Maryland with a background in copyediting, news management and business journalism. She currently freelances for Just the News, a digital news publication based in D.C., and for the Indian-American business newspaper The American Bazaar. When she's not working, you can find her reading at the library or skateboarding.
