Brooks is the running backs coach at the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to his college tenure, he was the head football coach at DeMatha Catholic High School, where he coached future NFL players and won four consecutive Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championships.

Maxwell Myers is a junior computer science major, who was voted to captain by his teammates and coaches at the start of this year. Myers is a middle-distance runner, who ran the first leg in the record setting 4x800m Penn Relay event. Myers handed the baton to freshman Eric Albright at 1:54.04, surging his team on course to break the previous program record set in 2010.

In 2021, Chris Alleyne had the opportunity to start his professional baseball career in the MLB, but decided to stay one last year with the Dirty Terps. This last season did not only extend Alleyne’s time with his teammates, but also gave him the opportunity to be part of a University of Maryland baseball tradition.

Maryland women’s basketball team continued their second-winning streak this season in a dominating fashion. The Lady Terps won their sixth-consecutive game by a 27-point margin against the Wisconsin Badgers, 70-43.

The University of Maryland’s women’s basketball team defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers 80-65 on Sunday. This created a five-game winning streak for the Terrapins.
