At only 28 years old, Hasibuan stunned the audience by doing something so unique to the fashion world. Her collection was based on intricate lace design, embroidered skirts and metallic tops.

The Anniesa Collection was inspired by her hometown, Jakarta, included hijabs that were were worn with suits, trousers, kimonos, gowns, and tunics in colorful silks and patterns.

For many young Muslim women, the hijab is not just a symbol or a statement, but part of their identity – one they are embracing more confidently.
